From the product picture, it looks as though the blade cover is reusable, but now that it's in front of me, it looks like it's to protect it during shipping. I have a tough time imagining how I'm going to store this "adult-safely" in a kitchen drawer.
I wonder if one of the other bread scorers has a better solution for protecting the thing in the drawer?
