I bought this pan for my daughter for a gift....she makes almond bread a lot and the almond bread pans I found were alot more expensive than this one.....they look about the same....my daughter was thrilled with it.....haven't talked to her to see if she has used it yet.

This ribbed loaf rehrucken pan is 11 inches long by 4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Use this pan to make a ribbed loaf of bread, or Rehrucken. Rehrucken, an Austrian delicacy, is a delicious chocolate log cake with crosswise ribbing, richly iced, and studded with almonds. A flat backbone runs the length of this pan to balance it, and the ribbing of the pan makes it easy to divide the cake into uniform slices. You can also use the pan for baking other cakes too, or for bread. This pan is 12 inches in length and 5 inches wide. Made in Portugal. Tinplate steel. Made in Portugal.
