(More customer reviews)I have had one of these for nearly 10 years, and it works beautifully. I don't understand the other reviewer who said it tore up the bread, except to say that just baked loaves of bread hot (or warm) from the oven do not slice well. Experienced bread bakers all know this. Always let loaf bread cool off completely for the best slicing. Then you can always re-warm it. If you want something hot from the oven, make rolls or biscuits, something you don't slice!

Cuts uniform slices of bread every time in the size you want. The rich hardwood handle gauges your desired thickness. Slice up to 1" thick or as thin as Melba toast. It's easy to turn the brass thumbscrew to move the guide to the size you want.
