(More customer reviews)I make a wide variety of breads (white, wheat, sweet, sourdough, etc.) about once a week, both from mixes as well as from scratch. Sure they're squarish, and the tops are sometimes weird, but the taste is great and they never burn. The interior mixing/baking pan is metal as is the paddle. Recently reading reviews of the new features of the Zojirushi X20, such as being able to open the lid to check how the dough looks/feels, a dough cycle, a viewing window, three crust color choices, these were already incorporated in this machine when I brought it in 1996. This model is a great machine.
