(I use one to place shells that I have as decorations in one of my bathrooms). The size is just perfect: not too big, and not too small. The wood has a soft, inviting feel to it. The only drawback is that it is a really soft wood and thus quite delicate. I broke a small piece at one corner when holding it full from one side only. I was able to glue it back and since it chipped from below, it does not show much. However, the price is so affordable that I am buying another. I am becoming a fan of acacia wood!
