Certain other members of the household don't necessarily use the knives for their suggested tasks and they feel that this is one of the best knives we have at this point.
The offset handle is really a nice feature. The serration/scalloping makes for easy cutting if you're in almost any slicing kind of situation. I still prefer my 8" chef's knife and 10" santoku for most cooking jobs but this knife is a big hit in my household.
