(More customer reviews)I ordered this bread bin because I bake my own bread and because I thought it would be like the one my uncle has in Europe/Suisse. I was truly very disappointed. It's so light weight that when you open it, it slides across the counter. I'm thinking--how is it going to keep my bread fresh? It looks like my uncle's--his is white.But other than the color, there is no comparison. I 'll figure out something to do with it. But not to keep bread or bakery goods in it. It is not worth 40 dollars that's for sure!
