(More customer reviews)I bought these particular pans because I didn't want lots of holes at the bottom or non-stick lining. The bread doesn't stick to pans if you lightly coat them with grease before laying the dough on top. Along with my bread machine, these have been really useful pans that have helped me make many a nice golden crispy, soft baguette. Without them, my baguettes are hard, flat, pale on top, and brown on the bottom. The pans didn't come with instructions for care, but if you treat them like a cast iron pan (avoid soap and soaking in water for too long, and drying the pan thoroughly after use) the protective finish will last longer.

(More customer reviews)This pan works great. It is totally non-stick and doesn't seems like the coating will wear off after a few washings like other cheaper products seems to do sometimes. The baguettes that it makes are smaller then the size I was expecting so you just have to make sure you make the loaves small enough for the pan. I was expecting something between a traditional baguette and a sub roll and these are sized like traditional baguettes. If you need a baguette pan I highly recommend this one.

(More customer reviews)I was surprised that I didn't notice how big this pan was but was lucky enough to own my own pizza oven. My first batch of bread made for a neighborhood fundraiser (for a child) was a huge hit, including one woman who claimed it was better than the bread she had in France! The framework of the pan allows it to cool without a separate rack. I look forward to more homemade baguettes.
