(More customer reviews)I could not do without this product. I have made not only Quesadilla's but also pancakes, omlets, sandwiches, and I am still looking at more recipes. It takes only 2 mintues for a thick pancake compared to on a stovetop. My only negative on this unit is that if you use butter it is very messy and hard to cleanup. If this had removeable plates it would be a 5 star in my book. Well worth the $20 I paid for it.

Simply place a flour tortilla on the nonstick grill, then add ingredients like shredded cheese, salsa, and shredded or thinly sliced pieces of cooked meat, poultry, or vegetables. Cover with another flour tortilla, and close the lid. For best results, fillings should be spread as evenly as possible, up to a 1/2-inch from the edge of the tortilla so that the edges can seal together. The countertop appliance works great not only for making quesadillas, but also for soft tacos, omelets, fajitas, pancakes, pita-bread sandwiches, and much more. Remove cooked items using a plastic or wooden spatula to help protect the nonstick surface. To clean, wipe the lid, base, and cooking plates with a damp cloth and towel dry.
