(More customer reviews)I have owned these for about 6 months now. At first, they seemed a bit lightweight but after using them, they are perfect. They are well balanced and extremely sharp. So far, there has not been a single negative. If you are used to using cheap knives, you should be very careful when you first get these. We had company at the house who did some cooking and she ended up cutting herself at least six times! She never owned a knife that took so little effort to use and she kept slipping up and nicking her fingers. The knife block is a little large but it displays the colors of the blades very nicely. I tried putting them in a smaller wooden block but they just did not look as good. We use colorful Fiesta dinnerware in the house and these knives add a bold splash of color of their own to the counter top. I liked the set so well that I went back and bought all the remaining knives in the set.

I love it! After tons of crappy knives it was so nice to have one that actually sliced bread without squishing it. It's easy to clean, just running it under the water is usually enough. And it's easy to find in a drawer or utensil stand. :)
