(More customer reviews)The oil bottle is lovely with nice lines and a good stopper. Originally I though the plates were too small, but they are actually perfect. I keep the bottle beside the stove and use it daily. It has a great flow for the oil and the stopper is secure so you don't get oil dripping all over. Cleaning it is easier than I thought it would be. I had given this a three star rating when I first received it but I would give it five now. The system won't let me increase my rating though!

(More customer reviews)Something must have happened to quality control since these earlier reviews were written. I based my order upon these other five star reviews. I'll have to assume that the writers were honest and don't work for Sante.
What I took out of the box was a cheaply cast piece of junk ... the iron was pitted, slag chunks were on the side, someone had taken a sander to crudely remove one of them, and to call the quality of the casting "poor" would be raving praise. You could even see swirls in the metal due to temperature differentiation. They must have cast this is someone's barbecue (in China, because that is where it was made).
I went back and read the most popular review of this, by PJ, and the condition of my pan was the polar opposite of what he describes. I guess they cheapened it.
I'm a Prime member and have ordered more than 100 items per year from Amazon. I've only sent one thing back, a pair of shoes that were the wrong size.

(More customer reviews)I accidently broke my neighbors Chantal 1.5 Quart Loaf Pan. Needed another fast so I could return hers to her but finally told her that I had to buy a new one because my dog knocked it off the counter. I know, blame it on the dog. But really it was the dog. So as a good neighbor I take full responsibility and the one I ordered was the exact same type as the one that was knocked off the counter. It's very pretty and maybe one day I'll actually purchase one for myself.
