Introduced in 1979, the "Happy Holidays" holiday pattern from Nikko has become a seasonal classic, with its swirl fluting around the edge of each piece. Made of high-quality Japanese ironstone, the pattern has the classic Christmas Tree decoration on each piece, and offers a full range of place setting and serving pieces, as well as collectible giftware. The entire range is completely dishwasher and microwave safe. The salad and dessert plate is 8-Inch diameter, and is sold in sets of four.

(More customer reviews)A beautiful plate - we ordered just the luncheon sizes as we didn't want the large "dinner" plates and didn't need a complete set. The color isn't quite as much as the picture shows but it is a very pretty plate nonetheless. We have always used Corelle as it takes up so much less space in the cabinet and is lightweight but very sturdy.

(More customer reviews)Cute! Cute! Cute! I love the mix and match look this set offers while still coordinating. The only complaint I would come close to having, is that the bowls are very shallow. They are great for salads, but not for soup or cereal. My solution was to buy the Corelle Snack Pack in white. The plates are very functional, light in weight, and take up less space than traditional stoneware. Everyone who has been to my home has complimented me on my new dinnerware.

(More customer reviews)I am very pleased with the dishes but there is a problem with ordering. On the Amazon.com screen, it asks how many of the item you want to order; I selected 8 because I wanted 8 plates. The particular vendor the item was obtained from, sold them in boxes of 6 (Acehardware,com). I was shocked to receive 48 plates. When I explained the problem to the vendor, they were very nice and told me how to return the ones I did not want. It cost over $32 in shipping charges to return the items which didn't make me very happy after paying shipping charges for receiving the items.

Sango Nova Square Salad Plates, Set of 4 Review

(More customer reviews)I went through my kitchen and replaced just about all my dinner ware and serving ware with Sango Nova Blue ware. It was quiet pretty and looked terrific when serving different dishes. The blues really made the food pop visually. Unfortunately, within a year, just about all of the dish ware was destroyed. I do not have a dishwasher, so everything is hand washed, but that should not make any difference anyway. Everything was developing micro cracks within months leaving me with chips on just about everything. When the dishes started falling apart (and I do mean that they would fall apart just sitting in the cabinet, just holding them when washing, or even while serving dinner) I had had enough. I threw at all away and replaced everything. While it looks pretty, this stuff is truly junk.

(More customer reviews)This plate, the 10 inch is the normal size dinner plate, just so you know. It's easy to buy the wrong size with these because they come in so many sizes. My aunt has had the Winter Frost White as long as I can remember, and now I am slowly building my own collection. I love them - they are very light and strong. I tried throwing a plate on the kitchen floor and it is still intact. The material feels like a combination of porcelin and pyrex as weird as that sounds. They are so thin and light that I could probably carry at least 35 of them. This is perfect for your everyday meals. Highly recommended!

(More customer reviews)We got these plates (along with dinner plates and bowls) to replace another set that didn't hold up well. These are substantial - but not too heavy. They do not get hot in the microwave, like some other plates I've had. The rim is nice because if you have something with sauce, it stays put on the plate. I haven't had them long so I can't say how they hold up, but for now, I really like them and am happy with my purchase.

(More customer reviews)At Christmas, I realized that I didn't have any SPECIAL plates for dessert. I found these Red and White polka dot plates and decided they looked perfect! They are very nice quality.The size is small...no loading 3 pieces of pie on these little cuties!!! The Red is a lovely true Red! The White, however, is not quite as WHITE as I would have preferred...there is a slight...VERY SLIGHT gray-ish tint to the White. Most people probably wouldn't notice...I did. That is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.
