(More customer reviews)If you'd like to make your own knock-off "Uncrustables" (as dubbed by Smucker's), this little tool offers wide possibilities. Nut butter and jelly, pizza pockets, grilled cheese, salmon salad, and just about any other filling you can thing of are all fair game with this Cut N Seal gadget, and they all come out with that cute scalloped edge. For those dieting or health-conscious, losing that extra crust (x2) means intaking many fewer calories. Came promptly, wrapped in plastic, with directions, and is very easy to clean. Directions indicate ability to make half pockets (half-moon-shaped) but have not yet tried. My only minor wish is that the press-button was smoothly-shaped - without the nub on top - so it didn't imprint in your palm when pressing down, but this is not a big deal. Otherwise, this is fun (especially for kids), easy to use, and fairly priced; very pleased and highly recommend.

I went right to Amazon and was pleased to find several other shapes available. I liked the dinosaur gift cutter so much and found that the kids loved having shape sandwiches so I ordered the heart shapped cutter and another. The cutters are easy to use and the kids eat a more substantial snace when I use them. I received the product quickly and in pristine condition!

They are easy to use, cut very close to the crust, and press the bread together to seal the sandwich. I use them multi-grain wheat bread and all sorts of different 'fillers'. A real crowd pleaser, this set of three cutters doubles as cookie makers and sandwich shapers. Shapes in the 3-Pack include dinosaurs, dolphins, and sweet hearts. (More customer reviews)I'm really not sure how this could be any easier to use. You literally just set the sandwich centered on the bottom half and fold. It doesn't take much pressure, and the excess bread crust literally just falls off. Sometimes when I open it after removing the crust, it will sort of 'stick' in the top, but it takes nearly no pressure at all and it falls right out with the edges perfectly sealed!
I've tried everything up to this point that I could find.
- Cookie cutters make cute shapes, but they're often too small and leave oozy edges
- Specially made sandwich cutters (in the shape of hearts, dolphins, dinosaurs, etc), again they're cute and they solve the size problem, but still ooze
- A gadget from a specialty kitchen-wares company that sells through homeshows, right idea but it never quite worked, round shape wasted too much and it never really sealed well
Enter the Krustbuster!
It's so simple to use that my children can do it. Lightweight enough for them to handle, yet still feels sturdy and has held up like new to our month or so of use thus far (including dishwashing everytime). Right size and shape for 'typical' sandwich breads, minimal waste. It also works better with softer breads than I would've thought (some of our previous cutter attempts with other products simply split soft bread, not the case with the Krustbuster). But, the best part is: it works as advertised and SEALS the edges!
It gets most of it's use from peanutbutter and honey, but we'll try egg sandwiches for breakfast (maybe even toasted), hotdogs, maybe even stuffed french toast!

(More customer reviews)I've been using and loving Lunch Punches for many months now. They are such a fun way to add pizzazz to any lunch quickly and easily. The punches are very easy to use, wash up nicely (they are even dishwasher safe!). What I love about the Lunch Punch sets is that they are just so cute and unlike other cookie cutter type things, the Lunch Punch is designed to use the whole slice of bread so that the only bit wasted is just the crust.
Even the packaging the Lunch Punches come in is cute. I really can't say enough great things about Lunch Punch. I love all the designs and consider them a lunchtime staple!
